Mt. Vernon, IL – SSM Health Medical Group in Illinois continues to expand cancer care services in Mt. Vernon and welcomes radiation oncologist, Brooke Willows, MD, to their accredited cancer care team.

Dr. Willows offers personalized radiation therapy cancer treatments for brain tumors, prostate, cervical, lung, kidney, and various other types of cancers including early-stage cancer. When you or a family member is going through cancer treatment, have comfort knowing you can get the care you need, close to home.
“As a cancer survivor myself, I want to give my patients hope and support as I guide them through cancer therapy. I want them to know they are not alone in this journey,” says Willows.
Dr. Willows received a bachelor’s of arts degree from Amherst College in Amherst, Massachusetts. She received a Master of Science from the University of Arizona in Tucson, Arizona, and her medical degree at the University of Arizona College of Medicine in Phoenix, Arizona. She also conducted clinical research at the Mayo Clinic in Arizona as well medical school clinical training at both the Mayo Clinic Arizona and Florida sites. Dr. Willows completed a transitional year residency at Methodist Hospital/Indiana University. She then went on to complete her radiation oncology residency training at the University of Kentucky and Tuffs Medical Center.
Dr. Willows joins our SSM Health radiation oncologists who are leaders in their field of radiation therapy. They offer the latest radiation treatment options available in cancer care. Willows’ practice is part of SSM Health Medical Group located at 4115 Veteran’s Memorial Drive in Mt. Vernon, IL. Her office hours are Monday-Friday, 8:00 am - 4:00 pm.
