Baraboo, Wisc. (April 25, 2024) -- SSM Health St. Clare Hospital - Baraboo is being recognized again as one of the top 20 rural and community hospitals in the country by the National Rural Health Association (NRHA).
The NRHA announced the 20 highest-ranked rural and community hospitals in the country based on an evaluation by the Chartis Center for Rural Health. The determining factors for the top 20 rural and community hospitals were based on eight indices: inpatient market share, outpatient market share, quality, outcomes, patient perspective, costs, charge, and financial efficiency.

This is the second time SSM Health St. Clare Hospital – Baraboo has received this honor. The hospital was also included in the 2021 Top 20 Rural and Community Hospital awards.
