Saad Chaudhry has been tapped to fill the role of Chief Digital Officer at SSM Health, where he will oversee digital strategy and advance key organizational goals and initiatives. His focus includes the use of technology to improve patient, caregiver, and team-member experiences – furthering the fully integrated health system’s Mission of improving access to high-quality care for all.
With more than 20 years of experience in healthcare technology, Chaudhry will oversee SSM Health’s digital strategy, including informatics, data and analytics, digital health, enterprise architecture, and strategic project oversight. These technologies are critical components in the transformation of health care to an efficient, insight-driven and patient-first system, that helps people live their healthiest lives.

Chaudhry will work closely with SSM Health’s Chief Information and Chief Strategy Officers.
Chaudhry joins SSM Health on June 17 from Annapolis, Maryland-based Luminis Health, where he most recently served as Chief Digital and Information Officer. Prior to that, he held various leadership roles overseeing healthcare technology initiatives and teams at organizations in the U.S., including Johns Hopkins Medicine and UPMC, and abroad in the United Arab Emirates at Gartner and Saudi German Health.
He holds a Master of Public Policy and Management degree with a healthcare focus from Carnegie Mellon University, and a Master of Science in Communications and Information Systems degree from Robert Morris University. Chaudhry also serves as an adjunct faculty member at the School of Health at Georgetown University, holds multiple board roles, and is a frequent contributor to publications including Forbes.com.
