Women4Wellness presents gift to Hope Blooms resource space, helps support community members undergoing cancer treatment

Janesville, WI – Hope Blooms, a cancer care resource space that offers free resources to any community member undergoing cancer treatment, recently received an extremely generous gift from Women4Wellness, Inc.

A total of $23,000 was raised during the 2025 Women4Wellness Golf Classic and Social on July 10. The funds will help Hope Blooms to continue providing treatment essentials and specialty items, like wigs, at no charge to community members.

“We are so grateful to the Women4Wellness committee for donating proceeds from the event to directly help those who are most in need,” said Dona Hohensee, Executive Director of the SSM Health St. Mary’s Foundation – Janesville. “Every dollar makes a tremendous impact.”

Hope Blooms opened in the cancer care treatment space at SSM Health St. Mary’s Hospital – Janesville and SSM Health Dean Medical Group – Janesville East in April 2024. It has since continued to expand its offerings.

“Hope Blooms is for anyone – not just patients of SSM Health – and we encourage our community members to help spread the word,” Hohensee said. “Going through a cancer diagnosis is extremely difficult, and we want to help however we can.”
