SSM Health Foundation Board Members Recognized for Leadership and Community Impact Across Southern Illinois and Beyond

Mt. Vernon, IL. — SSM Health Foundation – Southern Illinois is proud to celebrate several Foundation Board Trustees who have recently been recognized for their outstanding leadership, service, and impact across the region.

These honors reflect the meaningful contributions these individuals make both within SSM Health, and through their service locally, and even globally.

  • Bryan Stirewalt has been appointed as the new Independent Non-Executive Chairman of the Julius Baer Middle East Board of Directors, underscoring an ongoing commitment to excellence in financial leadership. Julius Baer is one of the largest wealth managers in the Dubai Financial Security Authority.
  • Gregg Winn was named to the 2026 St. Louis Titan 100, a recognition reserved for top CEOs and C-level executives demonstrating exceptional leadership, vision, and community impact.
  • Rex Cusumano received the President’s Award at the Jefferson County Chamber of Commerce’s 105th Annual Awards Banquet, honoring his leadership and contributions to the community.
  • Tony Wielt was named Small Businessperson of the Year by the Jefferson County Chamber of Commerce, recognizing his commitment to local business growth and community engagement.
  • Dr. Maryann Langenfeld received the 2026 Distinguished Alumnus Award from Kaskaskia College, honoring her lifelong leadership, service, and commitment to advancing education and opportunity.
  • Kim McMillan was recently recognized for her exceptional leadership and dedication during her tenure as board chairperson of the SSM Health St. Mary’s Hospital Foundation from 2017 through 2025. Under her leadership, the Foundation raised millions of dollars to support a transformative expansion of the Emergency Department and the new Sr. Clarette Healing Garden at St. Mary’s Hospital. McMillan continues to actively serve on the SSM Health Foundation – Southern Illinois Board of Directors.
