SSM Health President and CEO Laura Kaiser has been named one of the 100 Most Influential People in Healthcare by Modern Healthcare magazine for the eighth consecutive year. The honor is Modern Healthcare’s most significant list and appears in its Dec. 8 issue.
The list recognizes people who have made a significant impact on the industry over the last 12 months and features executives from health systems, insurers, pharmaceutical firms and advocacy organizations, among others.
Kaiser was recognized for championing the power of partnerships in health care, recognizing that no single organization has all the solutions to the challenges facing the nation in caring for patients. She has been a leader in working to reduce social disparities that impact health outcomes, and investing in the communities in which SSM Health serves its patients, including workforce development and building a new SSM Health Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital in St. Louis.
