The emotional impact of severe acne is something aesthetician Audrey Hendrickson knows well. As a teen she struggled for years to treat a problem that caused her embarrassment.
“Like most people, I used all the wrong products and tried to cover it up with makeup. It made me feel very insecure. Fortunately, by the end of high school, my acne started to calm down a bit, but I became very interested in proper skin care.”
Hendrickson completed aesthetician school and started her career with SSM Health at the SSM Health Aesthetic Center in Middleton in June of 2023.
“Once I got medical grade skin care and treatments for myself, it made a big difference for me personally. I have the most compassion for kids who come in here struggling with acne,” says Hendrickson.
I definitely know the feeling. My main goal is to help all people who come to the Aesthetic Center to feel better about themselves.
Hendrickson conducts a variety of procedures including non-invasive light and laser treatments for acne, age spots, sun damage, wrinkles and more. Patients can get smoother, healthier, flawless-looking skin with minimal discomfort and long-lasting results.
“Broadband Light (BBL) and micro-needling are my favorite things to do. The results are so satisfying. BBL gets rid of pigmentation and age spots and it’s very effective. Micro-needling helps smooth pores, reduces fine lines and wrinkles and gives the skin a healthy appearance.”
She enjoys meeting new patients and guiding them through a process.
