In March, the SSM Health Greater Fond du Lac Region shared the remarkable story of Grant Maniér, also known as Jigsaw Grant, an eco-artist, and his extended family to SSM Health Treffert Center.
That is when Jeremy Chapman, MD, a child and adolescent psychiatrist with SSM Health Treffert Studios, shaved his head in support of Grant, who has been undergoing cancer treatments at SSM Health Cancer Care in Fond du Lac since earlier this year.
Grant was diagnosed by SSM Health Greater Fond du Lac Region providers with stage 2 Hodgkin lymphoma. He started cancer treatments in January under the care of Sameer Tolay, MD, medical oncologist, and the SSM Health Cancer Care team.
Grant marked another milestone yesterday by ringing the bell with family, friends, and cancer care team members at his side signifying the end of his chemotherapy treatment and the beginning of a new chapter.
