Continuing professional development is central to nurses’ lifelong learning and constitutes a vital aspect for keeping nurses’ knowledge and skills up to date. One way nurses can achieve this is by pursuing advanced nursing degrees.
Pursuing an advanced nursing degree fosters practice environments that embrace lifelong learning and offers opportunities to impact the knowledge and competencies of the nurse clinician, as it does for all healthcare providers.
In 2022, 1,002 nurses participated in the tuition discount program with 261 participating in a cohort. Additionally, 42 employees took advantage of tuition reimbursement working toward a degree in nursing.
