Fine Needle Biopsy Clinic
SLUCare's Fine Needle Biopsy Clinic evaluates thyroid enlargement and nodules in children, adolescents and adults. Patients with thyroid nodules are examined using advanced ultrasound and fine needle biopsy of the thyroid.
The clinic is staffed by faculty members from the Saint Louis University School of Medicine, including staff from the Division of Endocrinology and the Department of Pathology. This close collaboration provides state-of-the-art evaluation for patients with thyroid disorders and is available only at an academic medical practice such as SLUCare Physician Group.
Working with your referring physician, SLUCare endocrinologists will connect you with the most appropriate experts in the surgical management of suspicious and malignant lesions of the thyroid gland.
