VolunTeen Program
in Southern Illinois
VolunTeen program is an entry-level volunteer program for high school students ages 15+ who want to learn about the healthcare field and be exposed to the many opportunities it has to offer. Students will be assigned to various areas within the hospital, both clinical and non-clinical, and assist our team members in caring for our patients and community. Students will volunteer two to three days a week for 4-hour shifts during their summer break at the location which best fits the career interest indicated in their application.
The VolunTeen program runs from June 3, 2024 until July 12, 2024.

- College credit opportunity from Rend Lake College for ages 16+. Minimum of 36 hours worked and completion of a reflection paper to obtain the credit.
