That commitment extends to offering innovative services to meet the needs of the entire family because we recognize that supporting the whole family is the key to ensuring the well-being of our young patients.

Key Services We Offer

The CARES program helps qualifying families by providing helpful resources as well as having our family navigators follow up with supportive care and guidance.

CARES helps with:

  • Diapers, wipes, formula, clothing

Our patients are families with children ranging in age from newborns to 18 years of age. Families who qualify for CARES will receive continuous social and practical support as well as case management services when they get care through the Danis Pediatrics Center.

The EnRICH (Enhancing Refugee and Immigrant Children’s Health) program is dedicated to serving refugee and immigrant families as they learn to take care of their children’s health in the context of a new healthcare system. Learn more about the EnRICH program.

The Fostering Healthy Children program takes a multidisciplinary approach to medical care for children entering foster care. Our team of SLUCare Physician Group experts is committed to ensuring our young patients have access to the continuous medical care and services they need, regardless of where they live. Our program provides initial exams for all children entering foster care to ensure any immediate medical needs are met. Additionally, we perform comprehensive evaluations, create health plans for our patients, including recommendations for ongoing care, and ensure each child has a comprehensive health record that can follow the child even if his or her placement changes.
