What happens after cleft lip & palate or craniofacial surgery?

  • After surgery for cleft lip & palate and craniofacial deformities, your child will be carefully observed overnight in the hospital.
  • Typical hospital stay: one to two nights, or until they are comfortable and able to drink sufficient fluids.

Will my child need future procedures?
