SSM Health Dean Medical Group

Conveniently located at the SSM Health Outpatient Center in Madison, Wisconsin, across the street from SSM Health St. Mary's Hospital - Madison, SSM Health Dean Medical Group offers surgery consultations, office visits, surgical follow-up appointments and outpatient procedures. A gastrointestinal registered dietician is on staff to provide nutritional counseling both before and after procedures. A few of our procedures include biopsies, ultrasounds, wound care, incision and drainage.

Surgeries are performed at the SSM Health Surgery Center on the second floor.

Brooks Street, across the street from the main entrance to SSM Health St. Mary’s Hospital. If parking in the ramp, take the elevator and follow posted instructions.

Visitor Guidelines

As SSM Health considers the best way to care for our patients’ physical and emotional health, we recognize that family and loved ones are an important part of the care team.

• We currently allow up to two support people (age 16+) per patient at this location.
• Patients will be encouraged to bring a support person only when needed.
• Patients and support people must wear a face mask at all times when in the facility, and it must cover nose and mouth. Procedural masks preferred.
• Social distancing encouraged when in our facilities.
