Meds-to-Bed Program

The Meds-to-Bed program is an in-house hospital service that delivers prescribed medications to your hospital bedside prior to your release home. Your prescriptions are sent to us by your health care provider, dispensed from our outpatient pharmacy and brought to your room by our pharmacy staff.
  • Billing: We accept most insurance plans.
  • Co-pays: The cost of prescriptions is comparable to other area pharmacies. Payment is due at time of service and cannot be added to the hospital bill. Credit and debit cards are preferred, but cash is also accepted.
  • Pharmacist Consult Service: A pharmacist will be available for consultation to provide education for the patient and family via phone.
  • Easy Sign-up: Patients who are interested in having discharge prescriptions filled before they leave the hospital are invited to let nursing staff know or call the hospital operator and ask to speak to the outpatient pharmacy staff.
  • Time Savings: Our staff coordinates with your physician, insurance carriers and drug manufacturers to make every effort to get your medication covered prior to dismissal from the hospital.
