Club Scrub
SSM Health St. Mary’s Hospital - Janesville
SSM Health St. Mary’s Hospital - Janesville is excited to offer 8th grade students an opportunity to learn about health care professions through our Club Scrub program.
The goal of this free after-school program is to increase awareness of healthcare careers. Club Scribe is designed to provide eight interactive sessions over a period of three months to provide consistent and engaging exposure to various healthcare professions.
Students will have the opportunity to speak with health care professionals and participate in hands-on activities that will allow them to experience firsthand what it might be like to work in a variety of healthcare settings.
The pilot Club Scrub program is open to 8th graders from Edison, Franklin, and Marshall middle schools in Janesville. The program will expand to other Rock County schools in spring 2027.
