SSM Health St. Anthony Hospital - Shawnee welcomes Gary W. Revas as Vice President of Operations

Gary RevasSHAWNEE, OK – SSM Health St. Anthony Hospital - Shawnee is pleased to announce Gary W. Revas, DHA, RRT-NPS, will assume the role of Vice President of Operations. In his new role, Revas will oversee planning and day-to-day operations for the Shawnee and Seminole campuses, while serving as a key member of the leadership team providing strategic direction. Revas returns to SSM Health St. Anthony Hospital - Shawnee after previously serving as the Director of Service Lines, Respiratory, Imaging, Sleep & Electroencephalogram for eight years.

An Oklahoma native, Revas began his college journey at Rose State College, earning an associate in applied science in respiratory care. Revas received a bachelor’s degree in respiratory care from Midwestern State University in Wichita Falls, Texas, before completing a master’s and doctorate in healthcare administration from Oklahoma State University Center for Health Sciences in Tulsa. He provided care to Oklahomans as a respiratory therapist for ten years, including four years as a manager. Revas also has experience teaching as an adjunct professor at Rose State College. During his time as the Director of Service Lines, Respiratory, Imaging, Sleep & Electroencephalogram at SSM Health St. Anthony Hospital - Shawnee, he developed and implemented a chronic obstructive pulmonary disease education program for the Shawnee community and played a crucial role at the hospital during the COVID-19 pandemic. Most recently, Revas served as the Chief Operating Officer for Cornerstone Specialty Hospital in Shawnee. He is passionate about serving Pottawatomie County and Seminole County. Additionally, he has been involved with Big Brothers and Big Sisters in Shawnee, Gordon Cooper Technology Center, and the United Way of Pottawatomie County.

Revas is a member of the American Association of Respiratory Care, the American College of Healthcare Executives, and the Oklahoma Society for Respiratory Care.
