Baraboo, WI – SSM Health St. Clare Hospital – Baraboo Intensive Care Unit RN, Brianna Maynard, was presented with a DAISY Award Monday June 10th by hospital leadership.

The DAISY Award is an international program that rewards and celebrates the extraordinary clinical skill and compassionate care delivered by nurses every day. Brianna’s nomination came from the family of a patient she was caring for in the Intensive Care Unit.

The appreciative family recognized her for the extraordinarily kind and compassionate care she provided both the family and the patient. The nomination highlighted her thoughtfulness, her dedication to go above and beyond, and her caring nature.

“Brianna is so thoughtful, and detail-oriented as a nurse. She went above and beyond in so many ways to ensure our family received the best care. We were fortunate to have Brianna as our caregiver and appreciated her kindness and meaningful gestures of thoughtfulness!”
