SSM Health President and CEO Laura Kaiser was honored this week with the Missouri Hospital Association’s Visionary Leadership Award. The award was presented at MHA’s 103rd Annual Convention in St. Charles, Mo.
The award was created in 1999 to recognize hospital executives whose innovative leadership has improved health in Missouri.
“Laura is an outstanding servant leader. But more than that, she is a shining example of somebody who cares,” said Samuel Ross, MD, MS, board chair of SSM Health. “And when someone cares, they go above and beyond to bring other like-minded people together to make a difference.”
Ross is one of several health care leaders featured in an MHA video (below) paying tribute to Kaiser, which was shown at the gathering.
