The WisCOMsin Awards recognized the top communications and public relations achievements in Wisconsin in 2024. The event included project-based awards for organizations and prestigious practitioner honors bestowed on individuals and a team.

SSM Health’s Marketing and Communications team is a multi-disciplinary team which supports all internal-facing and external-facing communications for SSM Health’s 13,000 Wisconsin-based physicians, providers and other staff. This includes employee news, executive communications, patient-facing marketing and health education information, social media, traditional media, and crisis communications.

"The WisCOMsin awards exemplify the core of PRSA: strategic communications," stated Diana Henry, president of PRSA Madison. "We are delighted to honor the SSM Health Marketing and Communications team for their outstanding contributions, which highlight the exceptional strategic communications talent at work in Wisconsin."

“This is a hard earned, well-deserved recognition for our team,” says Heather Sullivan, VP of Marketing and Communications for SSM Health in Wisconsin. “I am so thankful for each member of our team – because the work we do is better because of each person’s skill, talent and passion for telling the SSM Health story.”

SSM Health also received recognition as a 2025 WisCOMsin Award of Distinction winner in the Public Affairs and Community Education category for its Vaccine Education campaign and a 2025 WisCOMsin Award of Distinction winner in the Social Media Campaign category for its work promoting SSM Health Express Virtual Care.
