ST. LOUIS, MO - Breast Cancer advocates have a new, courageous, and powerful medium to educate our community and the world on how women can survive their most common disease diagnoses: breast cancer. The soon-to-be-released docufiction, Hello Beautiful, depicts a powerful story of breast cancer survivorship following the journey of a woman’s triumph over the disease. The film accentuates how not all caner diagnoses are a tragedy. Held at AMC 7 Esquire, the premiere of Hello Beautiful, featuring the story of St. Louis native and well-known model, Christine Handy, presents an alternative narrative that celebrates life, healing, and the strength women can find from their community.

An estimated 316,950 women will be diagnosed with breast cancer in 2025, making it the most common cancer in American women, according to the National Breast Cancer Foundation. This alarming statistic underscores the need for increased education as advances in early detection and treatment methods have significantly increased breast cancer survival. Hello Beautiful takes you on a rollercoaster of events in the life of the protagonist, where cumulatively, the message of conquering the disease is the cornerstone.
