MIDWEST CITY, Okla. – SSM Health St. Anthony Hospital - Midwest is pleased to announce the opening of a new behavioral health outpatient clinic in Midwest City at 2825 Parklawn Drive. Located on the first floor of SSM Health St. Anthony Hospital - Midwest with its own south side entrance and dedicated parking, the updated space offers a relaxing environment for patients with a comfortable waiting room and three patient exam rooms.
The outpatient behavioral health clinic will serve Midwest City, Eastern Oklahoma County and surrounding areas with services to adult and senior patients to help them live fuller lives as members of their families and communities.
“We understand it’s not easy coping with a mental health issue,” said Stacy Coleman, president, SSM Health St. Anthony Hospital - Midwest. “Our team will provide support, expertise and individualized care for adult and senior patients. We want to meet patients where they are at and this safe space will allow patients to receive the care they need in Midwest City.”
SSM Health St. Anthony is the largest, most comprehensive, faith-based treatment facility in the state of Oklahoma for behavioral health. The new clinic in Midwest City will help patients with mental health conditions including anxiety and depression, as well as offer medication management and long-acting injections for other psychiatric conditions. This compassionate team will be led by Chittranjan Verma, MD, Ernest Abunaw, MD and Binita Ghimire, APRN-CNP. This is the third SSM Health Behavioral Health clinic of its kind, with other clinics located in Midtown Oklahoma City and South Oklahoma City.
