SSM Health Good Samaritan Hospital Auxiliary is giving $16,500 in scholarships

Students pursuing careers in health care can apply

Mt. Vernon, IL – SSM Health Good Samaritan Hospital Auxiliary has opened the application window for students pursuing a career in health care to apply for one of their student scholarships. They are offering ten (10) scholarships worth $1,500 each, as well as one (1) $1,500 Warren-Hollar Scholarship specifically designated for SSM Health employees or past employees' children or grandchildren.

Students applying need to be a senior graduating high school in good academic standing, live within SSM Health Good Samaritan Hospital’s service area, have a major interest in pursuing a health care career/profession, and have been accepted by an accredited university or college offering educational opportunities in a health care field.
