Oklahoma City, Oklahoma - SSM Health announced today that Mike Milligan, CPA has been named Regional Chief Financial Officer for the Oklahoma and Mid-Missouri Region. Milligan steps into the role previously held by Shasta Manuel, CPA, as Manuel advances to a senior leadership position within SSM Health to be announced in coming days.
Milligan brings to the position more than 20 years of healthcare finance and public accounting experience. Before joining SSM Health, he served as Director of Finance for INTEGRIS Health Baptist Medical Center Health in Oklahoma City where he provided financial oversight for the system’s flagship hospital.
Prior to his position with INTEGRIS Health, Milligan served as Chief Financial Officer and Vice President of Financial Reporting for Oklahoma Children’s Hospital OU Health. He spent more than 12 years as Chief Financial Officer at Bethany Children’s Health Center, where he helped lead a period of significant organizational growth. Milligan began his career with KPMG LLP as a Senior Audit Associate and is a Certified Public Accountant in the State of Oklahoma. He earned both his Bachelor of Business Administration and Master of Science in Accountancy, graduating magna cum laude from University of Notre Dame Mendoza College of Business.
