Orville Fischer has spent over a decade improving stroke care at SSM Health St. Anthony Hospital in Oklahoma City, as a member of the team responsible for reducing treatment times from 90 minutes to as little as four minutes.
Although Fischer has always been passionate about taking care of stroke patients, in 2021, the tables turned, becoming deeply personal when he experienced a stroke himself and became the patient.
