Residents of this program will have nine required rotation experiences, three elective rotation experiences, and a 4-week concentrated research block.

- Clinical Precepting
- General Cardiology
- Hematology*
- Infectious Disease/Antimicrobial Stewardship (AMS)
- Integrated Practice
- Internal Medicine
- Pharmacy Practice Management/Medication Safety/Investigational Drug Service
- Pulmonary/Medicine Critical Care
- Resident Orientation
*Only one of these hematology/oncology type rotations must be completed.

Certification and Teaching Opportunities
- Teaching certificate required through University of Health Sciences & Pharmacy in St. Louis Resident Education Academy
- Regional continuing education seminar lecture development
- Precepting Advanced Practice Pharmacy Experience (APPE) students from local colleges of pharmacy
Staffing Requirements
- General staffing schedule and rotation:
- Every 5th weekend (two 8-hour shifts)
- One evening per week (5-hour shifts from 1600 to 2100)
- Two days surrounding 1 major holiday (two 8-hour shifts)
