Our board-certified emergency medicine physicians staff the region's first Level I trauma center at SSM Health Saint Louis University Hospital. The expanded emergency department offers state-of-the-art diagnostic and therapeutic capabilities, and allow our specialists to treat more than 80 emergency cases each day and more than 30,000 cases per year.

With the support of other SLUCare physicians, we provide rapid access to subspecialty consultations as well. Our association with Saint Louis University School of Medicine — a major research institution — allows us to improve outcomes of acutely ill and injured patients through education and research.
