SSM Health Digestive Health Center

The Digestive Health Center in Madison specializes in providing outpatient gastrointestinal diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, performed by our Madison-based Gastroenterologists.

The majority of gastrointestinal procedures performed at the Digestive Health Center are done through an endoscope. An endoscope is a small flexible tube with a light and a video camera lens at the end, allowing the gastroenterologist to view the inside of the digestive tract. For GPS driving directions: Use the street address of 703 S. Brooks Street, Madison, WI. The main entrance for the SSM Health Outpatient Center is located at 703 S. Brooks Street, across the street from the main entrance to SSM Health St. Mary’s Hospital. If parking in the ramp, take the elevator and follow posted instructions.

Visitor Guidelines

• SSM Health has discontinued its universal masking policy.
• Masks are no longer required, with the exception of those who have known or suspected COVID-19 or other upper respiratory symptoms.
• Patients will continue to be screened for upper respiratory symptoms, and masks will be provided for those who need one.
• We support patients and visitors who choose to wear a mask.
