SSM Health St. Mary's Hospital - St. Louis is a two-time winner of the Premier Award for Quality and has earned The Joint Commission’s Gold Seal of Approval® for Acute Heart Attack Ready Certification. Centrally located in metro St. Louis, we provide exceptional care to all our patients and are a Level III Time Critical Diagnosis STEMI Center. We specialize in high-risk pregnancy care. Plus, our chest pain center, certified stroke center, and imaging and outpatient services ensure you’re well taken care of in any situation.
We also operate as a teaching hospital, offering an independent, accredited internal medicine residency program. We serve as the primary location for St. Louis University School of Medicine's Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology and its Family Practice Residency programs.

Visitation hours are from 8 am - 8 pm. Compassionate care exceptions may be made with permission of the nursing leader. We recognized that you are a vital partner in the healing of your loved one and invite you to visit to support their recovery goals.
Visitor Guidelines
SSM Health St. Mary's Hospital - St. Louis and SSM Health Medical Group have updated our visitor policy to:
- SSM Health has discontinued its universal masking policy.
- Masks are no longer required, with the exception of those who have known or suspected COVID-19 or other upper respiratory symptoms.
- Patients will continue to be screened for upper respiratory symptoms, and masks will be provided for those who need one.
- We support patients and visitors who choose to wear a mask.

Helpful Hospital Resources
Our chapel is open daily, and located in the front lobby. Mass is held at 10 am Sunday through Friday.
For Roman Catholics, Holy Communion is available Sunday through Friday. Anointing of the Sick - for the restoration of health to the body, mind, and spirit - and reconciliation (confession) are also available upon request. For people of other faiths, chaplains will contact your local church upon request.

Sacraments
Holy Communion is offered daily to our Catholic patients and to our Protestant patients upon request. Sacrament of Anointing of the Sick and Sacrament of Reconciliation may be celebrated with patients and their families upon request.

The Golden Key Gift Shop
The Golden Key Gift Shop is located in the main lobby of the hospital, just inside the front entrance. Here you’ll find unique gift items, greeting cards, and a full-service florist, as well as snacks and miscellaneous toiletry items you may have forgotten. Deliveries are available to patients and employees at SSM Health St. Mary’s Hospital - St. Louis by calling 314-768-8128.
Volunteers help operate our gift shop. All proceeds support continued improvements at our facility.

St. Mary's Cafeteria is located on the ground floor. From the main elevators, turn right and make your first left into the Cafeteria. We're open seven days a week.

Vending machines, offering a variety of snack items, are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. They are located on the ground floor before the entrance to the St. Mary's Cafeteria and near the emergency room entrance.
Parking & Driving Directions
Ample accessible parking is available. Complimentary valet parking services are available for drivers with a disability placard at the main entrance and at the 1035 Medical Building between 8 am and 5 pm.
Get driving directions to SSM Heath St Mary's Hospital - St. Louis
Parking is available in the hospital parking garage, located off DeMun Avenue, or in the west parking garage, located off of Bellevue Avenue. The maximum daily fee is $5.
Valet parking is also available at the hospital main entrance and the 1035 Bellevue Medical Building for $2. However, valet parking is complimentary for drivers with a disability placard. Valet parking is available daily from 8 am to 5 pm.
When visiting a physician in the 1027, 1031 or 1035 Bellevue Medical Building, parking is available in the medical building parking garage or the west parking garage.
When visiting a physician in the 6400 Medical Building, park in the 6400 Medical Building parking garage, located off of DeMun Avenue.
There is a fee to park in both garages.
