Finding Your Way
- The main hospital entrance is directly off of Grand Blvd. Pull into the drive between LaSalle St. and Rutger St. Continue going straight to access the main parking garage on the right.
- To access the Emergency Room entrance, patients are encouraged to take the Lasalle Street on the north side of the hospital.
Complex Spine Surgery
Saint Louis University Hospital is home to the only physicians in the St. Louis region to perform complex spine surgeries.
Stroke & Trauma Center
Saint Louis University Hospital is a Level 1 Trauma Center and a Level 1 Stroke Center. This is the highest level of designation for patient care.

Visitation hours are from 8 am - 8 pm.
- Compassionate care exceptions may be made with permission of the nursing leader.
- Do not wake sleeping patients - if the room curtain is closed, please check with a nurse before entering.
- Visitation may be restricted if it interferes with medical and/or nursing care of the patient.

Visitor Guidelines
- SSM Health has discontinued its universal masking policy.
- Masks are no longer required, with the exception of those who have known or suspected COVID-19 or other upper respiratory symptoms.
- Patients will continue to be screened for upper respiratory symptoms, and masks will be provided for those who need one.
- We support patients and visitors who choose to wear a mask.

Parking & Driving Directions
All buildings at SSM Health Saint Louis University Hospital are accessible. Ample accessible parking is available, and valet parking services are available at most entrances. Valet parking for the La Salle garage is $4. Valet parking is free for handicapped tags and license plates.

Patients and visitors for the main hospital may park in the covered garage on La Salle Street, directly across from the hospital. Patients and visitors for the West Pavilion may park in the covered garage on Vista Avenue, directly across from West Pavilion.
Ticket Validation
All tickets must be validated for a discounted rate of $2 a ticket. Tickets that are not validated will be charged a $1 per hour up to 6 hours and then a flat $25 fee after that. Be sure to bring your ticket inside to receive your validation.
Patients who access outpatient services may park on the blue side of the La Salle garage.
