St. Louis – To help parents with after-hours issues and those unable to schedule pediatric appointments during the workday, SSM Health Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital has opened its second After Hours Urgent Care as of October 26 at its specialty clinic in South County.
Cardinal Glennon-trained advance practice providers – located at 13000 Butler Crest Dr, one mile from Highway 55 and Tesson Ferry Road exit – can provide care for patients from newborn to age 18 for issues such as:
- Minor scrapes, cuts, bruises
- Cough, cold, flu symptoms
- Joint pain
- Back strain
- laceration repair
- Sore throat
- Ear Pain
- Insect bites
- Painful Urination
- Rash
- Eye irritation
“We are happy to announce the opening of our second pediatric after hours urgent care,” says Erin Bening, MSN, RN, director of emergency services at Cardinal Glennon. “After recognizing the need to expand our services to the south county area, we are happy to be here and serving the community and beyond.”
After the Cardinal Glennon specialty clinic’s close Monday – Friday hours of 8 a.m. – 4 :30 p.m. are complete, the After Hours Urgent Care opens with hours:
- Monday – Friday: 4:30 p.m. – 11 p.m.
- Saturday & Sunday: 11 a.m. – 10 p.m.
