Ciox Health, a healthcare data management company that serves organizations around the country, including SSM Health, recently experienced an email data breach. While the impact to SSM Health appears to have only affected a small number of our patients, Ciox has mailed notifications to those who potentially could have been exposed. Ciox has no indication that any of the patients’ information was actually viewed, compromised, or misused.
