SSM Health Monroe Hospital is excited to offer 8th grade students an opportunity to learn about healthcare professions through our Club Scrub program.

The goal of this free after-school program is to increase awareness of healthcare careers. The program is designed to provide 8 interactive sessions over a period of three months to provide consistent and engaging exposure to various healthcare professions.

Students will have the opportunity to speak with healthcare professionals and participate in hands-on activities that will allow them to experience firsthand what it might be like to work in a variety of healthcare settings such as: Hospital Inpatient Services, Intensive Care Unit, Operating Room, Emergency Department, Ambulatory Clinic, Pharmacy, Imaging, Laboratory, as well as Cardiac Rehab.

Club Scrub will start March 13th and end May 15th with a graduation ceremony. Each session will be held on Wednesdays from 4:30pm to 6:00pm at SSM Health Monroe Hospital, 515 22nd Avenue, Monroe, Wisconsin. Applications are due by February 7, 2024.
