BARABOO, WI – The SSM Health St. Clare Foundation – Baraboo was proud to support local food pantry Beyond Blessed in multiple ways this holiday season.

To assist with two of the pantry’s most expensive weekly items, Beyond Blessed was gifted $1,600 in funds to purchase fresh meat and produce through the SSM Health St. Clare Foundation Healthy Community Partnership Grants. These grants provide funding for projects, programs and activities that advance the health and wellness of those living in the greater Baraboo-Lake Delton-Wisconsin Dells area.

In addition to the grant money, the SSM Health St. Clare Foundation – Baraboo donated $2,500 for hygiene items such as toilet paper, facial tissue, soap, and shampoo for its Holiday Distribution held December 20th, that supported over 900 households. St. Clare Foundation Executive Director, Julia Randles shared, “Proper hygiene is such an important aspect of physical health and wellbeing, so it makes sense to partner with organizations who are able to provide personal care items to individuals who need them most.” In the past, the Foundation has supported hygiene items for the Baraboo Food Pantry and Central Wisconsin Community Action Coalition (Wisconsin Dells Food Pantry) and now has expanded to include the Beyond Blessed Food Pantry.

Beyond Blessed Director, Shannon Howley commented, “I am blessed to receive these additional funds for the personal care products. I have completely exhausted my budget and this donation will allow us to purchase additional much needed products.”
