Jane Curran-Meuli, President of SSM Health Monroe Hospital and SSM Health St. Mary's Hospital – Janesville, has been recognized as one of Becker’s Hospital Review’s "118 Rural Hospital and Health System Presidents and CEOs to know" for 2025.

This national distinction highlights top healthcare leaders who are dedicated to ensuring rural communities have access to exceptional health care services. Honorees are also recognized for their ability to implement forward-thinking strategies to keep rural hospitals sustainable and thriving.

Curran-Meuli brings more than 40 years of healthcare experience to her leadership role. She began her career as a registered nurse in pediatrics and women’s health before transitioning into executive leadership. Today, she is responsible for guiding the strategic direction of both hospitals, aligning with SSM Health’s Mission and system-wide priorities.

Her recognition by Becker’s Hospital Review underscores her unwavering dedication to rural healthcare and her impact on the communities she serves.
