Application Process

The Baraboo RTT Family Medicine Residency Program will be accepting applications for our two PGY-1 positions via ERAS (the Electronic Residency Application Service). The program participates in the National Resident Matching Program (NRMP) for all positions.

The residency program is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) and certified by the Osteopathic Recognition Committee (ORC). ORC recognition means that we provide excellent OMM training for our residents.

The program begins interviewing in October and finishes at the end of December.

  • For all candidates (MD and DO), the program requires applicants to be within two years of graduation from medical school.
  • Applicants must have passed USMLE or COMLEX Step 1 and Step 2 (or Level 1 and Level 2) within two attempts, and within the last two years.
  • Applications must include three letters of recommendation.
  • Please note, at this time we only consider applicants from U.S. medical schools and are unable to accept international medical graduates. Applicants must be US citizens or permanent residents, as we are not able to sponsor J1 Visas.
  • Meeting the minimum criteria does not guarantee an interview with the program due to the limited number of available slots each interview season.
