Residency Overview
The DePaul Hospital PGY1 Pharmacy Residency Program offers a comprehensive, one-year training experience designed to develop well-rounded clinical pharmacists prepared for diverse pharmacy practice settings. Pharmacists completing a residency at DePaul Hospital will become confident, competent, and independent practitioners in multidisciplinary health care settings. Residents engage in hands-on patient care across multiple specialties, including ambulatory care, neurology, psychiatry, and critical care, while gaining expertise in advanced clinical services, medication management, and interdisciplinary collaboration. The program emphasizes professional growth through clinical rotations, research projects, and teaching opportunities.
