Residency Overview

Our pharmacy staff consists of approximately 60 employees, including 30 pharmacists. Our clinical pharmacy services are carried out by clinical pharmacy specialists, PGY-1 pharmacy residents, and clinical pharmacists. These clinical pharmacy services focus primarily on internal medicine (general medicine and neurology), critical care (28-bed mixed medical/surgical intensive care unit), and ambulatory care (family medicine and outpatient anticoagulation clinics). In addition to direct patient care activities, clinical pharmacists perform antimicrobial stewardship activities, complete pharmacokinetic and other clinical consults, educate patients and providers, and precept pharmacy students.

Our pharmacy utilizes the latest advances in technology, including the EPIC electronic health record, inclusive of a clinical pharmacy dashboard, automated dispensing cabinets, and advanced inventory technology, to deliver optimum and continuous patient care. Unique features of the hospital include 100% private patient rooms and a decentralized nursing model.
