Time for Kids: Digital Playbook
SSM Health & News 3 Now
Helping families talk about the role technology plays in daily lives
SSM Health and News 3 Now are excited to share the Time for Kids: Digital Playbook campaign with area families. The community campaign is designed to help families navigate the ever-changing role of technology and the digital world by building their own custom technology game plan.
Technology is everywhere, and our kids are embracing it to learn, play and socialize. But with endless ways to access the digital world, monitoring our kids’ usage to ensure a healthy balance can be tough.
Throughout the next year, we’ll share stories, tips and more to help families navigate, set rules and stay safe in the ever-evolving digital world while also developing a health relationship with technology.
A family’s first play
To start the campaign, SSM Health and News 3 Now are encouraging families to talk about the role devices and the digital world play in our daily lives and set clear expectations. Use the Time for Kids: Digital Device Guide to determine what makes sense for your family, then sign the Time for Kids: Digital Device Agreement. Download the Digital Device Guide and Agreement.
Building your family’s technological game plan
Over the course of the campaign, the Time for Kids team will share stories about how parents can set a healthy example for technology use, online safety, gaming, social media and much more. Build your family's winning technology game plan and join us as we all take Time for Kids.
If you want to be involved in our Time for Kids campaign, email your ideas and contact information to WICommTeam@ssmhealth.com.
