The Family Medicine Residency at SSM Health St. Anthony - Oklahoma City accepts ERAS applications through November 1.

Although we allow applications until November 1, students who submit their applications earlier have a better chance at receiving an interview. We strongly encourage students to submit their application as early as possible. The program begins interviewing in October and finishes at end of December.

For an interview, the applicant must:

  • Pass USMLE Step 1 or COMLEX Level 1.
  • Not fail board exams more than once.
    • Students who fail more than one test will not meet criteria. For example, if a student failed USMLE 1 twice or failed USMLE 1 and 2 each on the first try, the student would not meet criteria.
  • Have medical school grades equivalent to a grade point average of 2.5.
    • Applicants who fail 3 or more classes or repeat a semester for academic reasons will not be eligible. Applicants who are in a probationary status will not be eligible. Applicants who fail 1 or 2 classes and also fail USMLE 1 or COMLEX 1 on the first attempt will not be eligible.
  • Minimum of 6 months of clinical experience in the US healthcare system.
  • Must have graduated from medical school within twenty-seven months of their potential residency start date.
