The following are some of the conditions we treat which impact head, brain, and skeletal system:
- Chiari Malformation - A crowding of the structures at the base of the baby's brain, near the spinal canal.
- Cleft Lip & Palate - A condition where the baby's upper lip and/or palate does not form completely.
- Clubfoot - A condition where a baby’s foot is twisted inward to the point where the bottom of the foot faces sideways and in some cases upward.
- Hydrocephalus - Cerebrospinal fluid circulation is impaired, resulting in a build-up of fluid and pressure on the brain.
- Microcephaly - The development of the brain slows down, or in rare cases stops growing in the womb or after delivery.
- Myelomeningocele (Spina Bifida) - The spinal cord fails to close during development causing damage to the spinal nerves.
- Skeletal Dysplasias - A class of conditions which may include shortened arms and/or legs, smaller chest size, and an abnormal head size and shape.
