Bachelor's Level

Students entering their junior or senior year of college can apply for a field placement opportunity.

This is a one semester volunteer opportunity that requires 10 hours a week, and is offered in the spring, summer and fall.

This is a one to two semester volunteer opportunity that requires a minimum of 10 hours a week.

Undergraduate students will have the opportunity to observe, and participate in the daily workings of an in-home autism treatment program.

Undergraduate students have the opportunity to observe and participate within a North Fond du Lac school serving twice-exceptional students grade K-9.

The Treffert Way is a school of optional enrollment for all students, inclusively designed to provide diverse learners with an appropriately matched educational environment that will invite them to explore and recognize their potential for life success.

Master's Level

Students in a master's level counseling program can apply for this experience.

This is a year-long volunteer commitment.

Master’s students, who are interested in an internship in Fond du Lac, WI only, are encouraged to contact Colleen Hanson, MS, LPC at colleen.hanson@ssmhealth.com.

This is a one–two semester volunteer opportunity that requires a minimum of 10 hours a week.

Doctoral Psychology Internship

SSM Health is proud to train the next generation of psychologists through our Doctoral Psychology Internship. Residents will work with SSM Health staff in a variety of clinical settings providing services across the lifespan. Our mission is to train psychology residents to be competent to practice autonomously in their future roles as licensed psychologists. Prospective residents should read the program brochure for additional information.

The 2023-2024 application cycle is now open.
